Trends Seen for Private Residences' Styles and Colors
Beth Niehoff, director of resident communications, is in the midst of finalizing selections for the perfect finishes, styles and colors. Beth has noticed the emergence of a few trends during the past several months. For granite finishes, she’s noted the popularity of "kiwi-green" for its unique color, and "bianca toscano" for its complementary depth with light-colored cabinets. Parma faucets have also proven popular, primarily in brushed-nickel, and Beth said the maple flooring with the "sienna" finish is a favorite as well.

Resident Profile: Couple Chases Adventure at Home
As a real estate developer who tends to do more business outside the state of Missouri, St. Louis resident Rod Jones was open to moving anywhere.
"My wife and I were interested in moving somewhere unique and exciting," said Rod. "We had talked about living in a variety of places—New York, San Diego, San Francisco and others."
While looking, Rod got curious and decided to visit The Private Residences' sales center. He put his deposit down the same day and called his wife, Benton, who ended up "doing cartwheels" when she heard.
"I sincerely feel if it weren't for The Chase, there'd be nothing else in St. Louis to give us the feel of the particular city life we were looking for," said Rod. "You can't replicate it. You can't build a new high-rise with the same unique space. The Private Residences are so distinct, so metropolitan."
Rod's now looking forward to sharing that metropolitan life with Benton and his college-aged children, for whom he's purchased a second unit. Additionally, the couple is expecting a baby boy in April.
"We're an adventurous couple, and this is our own local adventure," said Rod. "With the services, attractions and restaurants ... we feel like we're going to be on vacation every day."
Welcome home, Rod and Benton!
