Chase Park Plaza Previews Santé
The Chase Park Plaza recently unveiled plans for a new high-end, state-of-the-art fitness and wellness center called Santé. The $3.5 million center opens in February.
The 18,000-square-foot center will offer individual lifestyle assessments, personal training, private Pilates sessions, nutritional counseling, massage, locker rooms, group exercise studios and group classes. Fitness classes will make use of nearby Forest Park.
Membership choices include Corporate, Gold and Platinum levels—with the most impressive Platinum features being free valet parking, a permanent locker and laundry service for workout attire. Owners of The Private Residences will receive complimentary Gold memberships.
The Private Residences add Holiday Sparkle
As you begin holiday shopping, you may recognize a familiar sight in several print advertisements. Locally-owned Genovese Jewelers will feature the display units at The Private Residences sales and design center, as well as The Park Plaza's exterior, for a holiday jewelry campaign. The December 14th cover of Ladue News will also feature a photo.
"With the shared commitment of tailoring to the art of finer living, the pairing of Genovese jewelry and The Private Residences is a fitting combination," said Marcia Smith Niedringhaus, one of The Chase Park Plaza developers.

Chase Park Plaza Staff Profile
Basia Najarro Welcomes You Home
In this ongoing series, Coming Home profiles people you may encounter as you make The Private Residences at The Chase Park Plaza your home. In this month's issue, we speak with Basia Najarro, special events manager for The Chase Park Plaza.
What brought you to The Chase Park Plaza?
I worked for the owner of the Starlight Roof before it was acquired and operated by the current owners of the hotel, and I stayed on throughout the transition. This place holds so many personal memories. My husband Giovanni and I were married at the Starlight Roof.
What is the best part of your position here?
I love being able to build personal relationships. Getting to know someone's likes and dislikes is essential, whether I'm planning a wedding, an awards ceremony or an intimate brunch. It's so touching when I later get thank-you notes acknowledging my work.
What do you enjoy doing in St. Louis?
Spending time with my husband and 18-month-old daughter, Ellie, is always something I love. My husband and I recently took a "vacation" to Lafayette Square and stayed in a bed & breakfast—it was great fun to be "tourists" in our own city!
Can you offer some tips for entertaining at home?
One―relax! Worrying will cause you to miss the fun. Two―you can't control every detail, so don't nitpick. Three―make the event your own, and you'll enjoy it so much more.
